The King G bar and deli describes itself as a modern version of the classic neighborhood gathering spot, and wanted a look to match the vibe. For the bar, our team laid out a design plan that incorporated the urban edge and street art ambience of the neighborhood with chic hotel elements that made the whole place feel like it had been there for decades. Deep emerald green, rich wood tones, sleek brushed brass, thoughtfully placed graffiti walls, and a vintage inspired logo all come together for a next-level speakeasy atmosphere that is authentically KCMO. The deli space is equally authentic in execution, with bright subway tile walls, open wood shelving, bistro-style seating, and lots of natural light through oversized picture windows with custom-painted signage.
